The Art Of-
ATHENA PERKINS
Driven
3D/2D Animation
This is an animation done for a school project. We completed this in eleven weeks- There were six people total that assisted in making this a finished product. Douglas Halford, Jenisse Taylor, Brittany Bashline, Katelyn Tillet, Jon Baldi, and myself. My main contributions: concept for all the characters, 3D modeling of fish characters and their textures, title card animation, backgrounds and final composite.
The story is about two antenna toppers that meet on the freeway and fall in love.
Moonchild
Stop Motion
This is a stop motion animation I did for a school project a while back. This is me just messing around, getting a feel for video and stop motion editing. The program I used to edit the footage was Final Cut. The characters, settings, and props are all mine, but I did not create them (i.e. the main characters are drawing aids.) The music was partially edited for length and the song is an instrumental version of "Moonchild" by the artist King Crimson. I do not own it in any way.
The story is about a woman being courted by a man. The male character ultimately gets denied and you experience his anguish towards the matter.
The Special Delirious Water
This is a fun little video project done for an intro film class. The objective was to tell a short story using film as a medium. Alma Gordon did all of the sound effects, voice over work, and polished up the final storyline. I did the base story, filming and video editing. The main character is played by Heather Perkins, and the secondary character is played by Jacob Ross. The clown played as himself.
